Chef's Design 1135 roaster is constructed of heavy cast aluminum therefore the roaster and cover will not warp. The exclusive high dome cover features "dimples" on the inside making it a self-basting cover. Some of the features include eclipse premium non-stick interior in the roaster and the cover, stay-cool polished stainless steel handle riveted on the cover for security and an attractive highly polished exterior.
The high sides makes this roaster suitable for braising, stewing and slow cooking with liquids, so you can cook equally well in the oven or on the range top. Start by browning your food on the range top and then cover the roaster and finish cooking your dish in the oven.
